Honda Head once again…

(not the best picture but it was the day i drove it home 5-17-11)

I haven’t been too into the honda scene since i had my right hand drive DA8 and kinda got back into it when i got my 2008 Element SC that i fixed up. But that was short lived and i parted out the Element and sold the car. Me and my GF just recently picked up a 96 Prelude Si for me to daily cause, man .. driving an E class daily to and from from work is just costly and what better way to save on gas then a Honda. It’s not the best of condition car but that’s just another thing for to me put together and give it my personality.

Im not too familiar with this car and just reading about it and checking parts and part availability it seems to be the red headed step child of the 90’s era honda world. It might be i don’t know where to look since i’m such a newb again.. but even just looking for dope wheels in a 4 x 114.3 just sucked. haha. I’ll keep looking into the car and learning what i can cause that’s what this hobby of cars is all about. Learning something new and expanding the knowledge is always fun when it’s about cars.

Masterminds.. part deux

Here’s the second part of the twin Spirit Rei Odyvias. I was going to say #2 but being that we’re all a little nasty (or atleast i am) and the car color is rootbeer brown I’ll stick to part deux. LOL. I really like how well these cars were built over at Masterminds and it’s clean. Here are more detailed pics compared to the last post of the car that stood out to me more. Engine bay, interior and of course the exterior. I thought i had drifting vids of this on the camera cause the homie Erwin gave it a few laps around the building but my luck of course they weren’t there. Just blurry ass pics. Oh well maybe next time.
On to the pics.

Masterminds BYU edition

Stopped by the homies shop MASTERMINDS a while back and had the camera handy and asked it was cool to take pics of the twin Spirit Rei Odyvias and they said it was cool. So i bring you these not show prepped cars. These are they way they chill in the warehouse. I’m gonna seperate the 2 cars and kinda give them their own net time.
The first one i chose i just loved the paint and the details were dope so i didn’t really get pics of the engine bay but it is bad ass. Im sure you can look it up and see the beast under the hood. If you really wanted to see. I know it’s not like me not peak under the hood but i was really just swepped away from the exterior. So these are all exterior pics the next Odyvias will have more attention to detail just cause that’s what stood out to me. Work on these cars are just magnificent but i’ll start you off with the first one and let you check it out.

Thought this was interesting .. MSD in the dash. Creative.

While there i Ran into a Heavy Hitters featured owner of Liberty Walk that was visiting from Japan. He’s hella cool and funny. Didn’t understand a word he said but Takashi at Mastermind was telling him about my build and showed it my builds and he was totally into it (or atleast acted like he was entertained LOL)

Here’s a pic from his Heavy Hitters feature

and pic of me with him.
