Toyotafest is one of my favorite events to go to not only because of the nice location at the Queenmary but because of it’s roots. Toyota Owners and Restorer’s Club (TORC) AKA Toyotafest bring the enthusiast through the years, old and new together for a gathering that just feels so humble. No crazy model lounges or loud music from 10 different booths. Just cars, raffles and enthusiasts. I try and attend this event every year since I’ve found out about it maybe 7-10 years ago and have fun seeing old friends and meeting new ones there.
I have my own coverage of the event but wanted to introduce on of the BobsYrUncle crew Eric Gamboa that participated at the event and took a few photos to share.
I was looking through some pictures I took at Nisei found a few I didn’t post. So here’s another part to the Nisei coverage.
Always good to see Jamari’s car specially in SoCal. Gotta give it to him and how for he drives to show this beast. Dedication and car love. Awesome.
The homie Jesse Sabater’s bad ass GTR
Toyota corolla hasn’t really been a favorite in the scene since the hachi roku – AE86 and seeing that it went from rwd to fwd would explain the lack of love .. and well.. haha the styling ques pretty much sucked since then too! Don’t get me wrong i’ve seen 89 corolla’s rock hard with a good stance and wheels but its uber rare to see good looking ones ya know?
Here’s a prime example of what potential the NEW Rolla has .. wheels are Herrafruuush, the stance is aggressive and i gotta admit that roof rack gives the car some flair. Gotta love flair haha this one stood out to me and had share it with you guys.
