I was in a Lexus mood today and started the day with the SC300 on CCW’s and thinking about flashy Lexus’s my friend Mike’s (ILLMike to some) ISX50 came to mind. Definitely an attention getter with its’ Magenta paint job . I remember him getting teased about it looking pink but it was technically magenta. Either way this car stood out in a crowd and why wouldn’t it. Check out the wheels by Forgestar, the Stoptech yellow BBK and Vertex kit which gave the car an over all great flow. Sick built car. If you keep up with ILLMike i’m sure you’ve seen his flat black Brabus E class hitting the show scene lately. But, enough with the jibber jabber on to the pics.
IllMike RX7 LS1 is just clean! We didn’t get an official shoot together even though i’ve been dying to use the new lenses I got for Christmas but I couldn’t wait to post these. LS1 power in an RX7 I have to say I am definitely a fan. I’ve had friends with FD’s and the headaches they had in just keeping the rotary up , running and healthy is just a pain and this swap is a definitely more and more common now a days. The 99 spec is also a plus with his build, aero, Stoptech, and the LE37’s come together brilliantly. Check out the details of work that went into the car.

Wow! thank you all for the warm responses and visits to the blog. Very motivational to keep this blog updated. I don’t think I’ve seen numbers like this since … well? Forever. I appreciate the support.
I wish I knew what to update. Haha everything is covered or overly put out there. I know it must get boring seeing all the same cars and topics on all the blogs. I’ve always been one to be different but with so many blogs it’s hard to be original. Even my Facebook feed looks like blogs are competing to see who can throw more pics of random coolness up there. So what’s left to blog? Well… that’s where i’m stuck.
Besides saying thank you for all the visits I really had nothing to share other then some random car pic or model I had in mind but to my surprise it was something already feeding on some other blog.
Good thing my buddy Mike or IllMike as he’s known to a few of you just got his car (that’s kinda been on the low low) out the shop today.
Hoping to get a shoot with this car soon. Specially since it’s fresh out the shop and looking sexxy .. Here’s some teaser shots for you to check out that he sent me earlier today.
FD<3 Damn .. what a tease.
If you thought i was only gonna update with the HKS USA news!? Then you were WRONG!! Haha.
Bringing you 2nd installment to illMike’s Supra build. It’s taking some time but making some progress on this Supra. Getting some new parts to give it a freshness and it’s looking great! I really can’t wait to see this put together and painted already but paint, kit, wheels, suspension etc. OH man .. we might have a long way !? or do we? LOL . I’ll keep with the updates so we can see this car done.
check it .
New Headlights!? Yes, please!
Kit is here and ready for some work
BEFORE! AFTER!!!!! wheels look sick .( sucky pic but trust! they look good)
what’s next ?! wait and see…
My homie Mike better known as illmike just started a new project and was stoked when i gave him the idea of featuring the build on the blog. He definitely someone real familiar with building cars he’s had winning show accord, lexis Is250 and even a SEMA built RX7 FD. So he’s definitely not a stranger to building a dope cars.
Here’s the car the way he got it. Which from what he’s told me was sitting for 4 years with out being driven so he has his work cut out for him and was up for the challenge. Fluids changed and already got the car to turn over.
from getting the car to start to already stripping the faded chipped paint for new paint and surprise body kit. Works quick and already has BIG plans for this car.
inperrfections small dents being cleaned up . gonna look flawless when it’s painted.
Primer done.. now for paint. Color ??
We’ll see what the next part brings ..
