It’s been a while since the last post and we wanted to update the fans that we’ll be bringing you Toyotafest aka TORC coverage in the next few days. Don’t know how this makes sense to post Integra pics in the same post talking about Toyota love but this car just looked too bad ass and didn’t want to be to predictable posting up a Toyota or scion. You’ll get enough of that in the next few posts.
Enjoy and stay tuned.

Scenery, stance, style and overall.. This needs no introduction.
All credits go to the respective owner of these pics.
Irvine Cars and coffee location but with a little twist. Formula D Tech inspection and Import Tuner cover car search meet took over and looks like it brought out a lot of cars. Our old buddy and one of the newest edition to BobsYrUncle crew Emu Viana went out to cover the event and bring you some pics.
As i go through the pics i notice a common thing .. WOW there’s a lot of white cars!!! I remember when white, black cars were a definite no no’s for magazine covers but maybe things changed? But, guess that’s besides the point. I wanted to start off the coverage with the abundance of white cars then we’ll switch gears and go to the normal coverage of the event in the next episode.
We want to congratulate our friend Freddie on his tremendous job arranging his Grand Opening! It looked great! Granted the BobsYrUncle crew did get there later then expected. But we made it!! What had happened was….. We planned on leaving the LA area around 7 am to get there early and reserve some new spots and talk to Freddie and what not and literally ended up leaving at 9:30 instead. Uber FAIL. I’m just going to blame day light savings for that one. SMH.
We ended up at Auto Fashion around 12 and missed the ribbon ceremonies but the event was packed even when we headed out for food around 3 it was still packed!
Great turn out and a lot of nice cars I wasn’t able to capture every single one, nor do i think i would. (i ain’t got time fo dat)
It was good seeing all the homies i hadn’t seen in a while and meeting new people.
Here’s part 1 of coverage from the show for you to enjoy.
J’s Racing K20 equipped Type R DC2
I don’t see a lot of fixed up RSX/ DC5 on the road like i used to. It could be my luck and I could be living under a rock but I’ve always liked the styling. Here’s a clean on with a twist. The camo lip ain’t my thing but over all the cars pretty sick and simple.
Check out and you be the judge.
We Still had a few pics from Spocom we hadn’t posted and wanted to revisit the show and post the last few pics taken by Nick.
I don’t go to shows very often but for Nisei, I thought i’d make an exception. I always get a great vibe from going to this show. Must be the friends i see there or knowing it brings a lot of the old school tuners that I haven’t seen in a while back to visit or show their cars. Being that it’s Nisei, this show is known for always being HOT and i mean HOT!!! and this year was no exception. Well over 100 degrees, it was work getting coverage. I had some of the crew team helping me out so it wasn’t THAT bad. So big thanks to Nick, Lance Danny and Andrew for covering other sections of the show. Here are some of the pictures I took as a sneak preview of the coverage. Enjoy!!
I’ve posted this car in the BYU fan page before and I finally was able to find more detailed pics of the car. Wish I could see what’s under the hood but this is a beautifully built Integra. Can’t tell from the plates where it’s exactly from but as I’ve said before and i’m sure a lot of people before me. “CCW’s look good on everything!” One of those timeless builds that don’t need much to look good. Type R front end nice lip and done.
Enjoy the pics.
