Cars & Coffee, Irvine : Third edition of Coverage

Being a fan of all automobiles new, old, crazy looking, or even those work in progress cars that don’t get a lot of love. Everyone has their own steez and it’s just a little harder to see where they’re coming from. So because of my “weird” likes we ended up taking a lot of pics of a broad array of cars from super old school to the uniques that aren’t seen everyday. Basically whatever caught my eye.

These headlight housing were crazy .. nearly seemless addition to the car.

Don’t see Lancia’s on the street very often. Seeing the name always makes me think of rally races

This full race Fiat 500 was bananas.

Look Ma’ no headlights. (Big thanks to the random stranger for pointing that out)

Themed bike got my attention.
Had no idea what this was at first and had to look up more info AC 378 GT Zagato. Not a name that so easy to remember but it is impressive in person. Built in South Africa by Hi-Tech Automotive and designed in Italy.

Via Wickipedia:

“The car is powered by a 437 bhp (326 kW; 443 PS) 6.2 L V8 GM sourced engine found in the Chevrolet Camaro.[4] Weighing 1,465 kg (3,230 lb), the company predict a 0-60 mph acceleration time of under four seconds and a top speed around 185 mph. The car does not feature any electronic driver aids”

This Bus was insane! Creativity and ingenuity was a site to see. It’s not all polished on the outside but i’m sure you can appreciate the build. For more pics see Part 2 of our Cars & Coffee coverage here.
Isuzu Vehicross from what i remember had a strong following and was a pretty pricey car/ truck to buildAlways a classic. Mr. Supra Nick wasn’t able to make it out this morning but luckily enough Jill his GF brought out his JZA80. Buddy of mine Scott’s turbo first gen GS ❤ that T04Z HKS turboThe very well known Brendan’s LrgSoup

BobsYrUncle crew goes to Cars & Coffee, Irvine P.1

Car & Coffee Irvine is always something to look forward to even when it’s meeting the homies up at 6:15 in the morning. I met up with few friends at the Irvine Spectrum and caravan-ed it to Cars and Coffee shortly after.

(Pre-meet)

Finally parked and ready to walk around the meet.

Toyota Supra: Mark II A60

Feeling a little nostalgic after the last post that i wanted to share another old school ride. Mark II Supra A60 also known as the the Celica XX or Celica Supra Mark II. This one is well executed and I wish i could see more of these types of builds state side. So Clean!!

Because Supra: JZA80 Appreciation

I don’t usually post Friday through the weekend but I found these amazing Pics via Stanceworks – M.Burroughs and my jaw dropped. There’s just a few cars that are truly timeless in design and the JZA80 Mark IV supra is one of them. Body lines flow so well and we all know the 2JZ-GTE is one of the best motors out there. Iron block twin turbo out the factory back in the 90’s is total genius for it’s era. The pics below give me a total appreciation the JZA80 platform. Simple, clean with factory aero and still makes you stop and stare.

Enjoy
