Friend of mine at Promax Auto Service was one of the sponsors at the Project G 2 Year Anniversary meet and invited me to come out chill and get some coverage (something we’ve been in need of on this site). He owns a Variochrome Pearl White Hexis wrapped Miata and of course this was a Miata meet. But, what i thought would be a sea of Miata’s turned out to have a nice variety of cars from FD, FC’s, Nissans, Scion, Lexus and Even Fiats. I was impressed with the turn out and the guys at Project-G had it well organized and had a bunch of give-a-ways making it fun and memorable.
On to the pics!!! Part 1
Candy’s Fiat 500 on KW V3 and custom VIP Modular Dubai Gold VX110
Sean (owner of the Variochrome Pearl White Miata), Candy (owns the Fiat 500 with the Dubai gold VIP Modular wheels) and Elie having some fun
Mr. I stay Crushing Robert Kochis and his well known Rocket Bunny FR-S stopped by to kick it and check out the meet.
Here we have Supra Nick and his Gf Jill that brought out her Lexus IS300 on some uber rare Panasport G7 c5c
I thought we’d have more SEMA coverage but we had some technical difficulties with memory card failure and forgetting to bring a back up memory card we probably only have one more part of the SEMA coverage. So a total of 4 parts of SEMA before we move on to new topics. These are a few pics from the cars that had outdoor spots and sick! I honestly wish we had more time. We really missed a lot of cars since we only had a few hours to walk the show but we hope that you the fans enjoy the coverage.
Wheels are too dark in my opinion looks like the cars floating but in person the car looks goooood! Skyblue worked on this EVO
This Genesis was Legit! Loved the small touches and color matching
Didn’t see too many S2000’s at the show so it was nice to see a few.
HAHA.. I don’t think too many other blogs showed this colorful bus but it was definitely eye catching
Apparently this was built in China and brought over to display. Very different .
This looked bad ass. Didn’t look like it was finished in time for the show but concept looks very nice. Wonder what it would look like complete?
Love old school Porsche’s and this one caught my eye! It was nice to see something a little different done to a Porsche rather then the norm which seems to be RWB kitted and fitted. Don’t get me wrong I love RWB but just nice to see something different .
Seeing that we were limited on time we didn’t get to see the entire car show and i’m sure we missed a lot of the hyped FR-S/BRZ’s out there but the ones we came across looked pretty bad ass. I wish I got to see the one built by the homies at Platinum VIP/ Phantom Garage and the Iforged one but I totally missed out. These are the ones that caught my eye and stood out to me while walking the halls.
2011 Scion tC2-t – by Shawn Baker
I don’t know what happened to the Scion Fuse concept but it looked pretty damn good (minus the doors). Over all design seems like something that might have caught on. No contest to the Scion FR-S/ Toyota 86 but I think it would have held it’s own. Take a look at the details even the hatch glass moving up and the trunk sliding out. Would have been nice to see this go into production.
Compact cars have always been strong in the scene. Affordable and fun to drive. I haven’t seen to many posts or fanboys like the ol’ Scion craze where Scion crews would take over any event they heard was going on. Which could be a good thing but still it’s weird not to hear about the small cars making an impact anymore. Either that or I’m so disconnected from the scene now a days I don’t know what’s going on out there at the shows and meets. Found some pics of cars I wouldn’t mind owning or seeing at some events (whenever I go to one)
I’m sure there’s plenty of compacts I’m not thinking of but these came to mind first.
