From Across the Pond: Hachiroku

I wanted to introduce this car state side. We all love the Hachiroku and this one was too amazing not to share with our followers. I was lucky enough to get these photos and make an attempt at sharing them with the fans here in the US. I don’t want to bore you with the details because I think the details are in the pictures. Enjoy!

Interior only a drifter/ racer could love.

And … If you’re wondering what’s power this car and what to take a peak under the hood… here you go. SR20DET dressed up with a custom valve cover Garrette turbo and all the fixins.

240SX: S13 Stunner

Trolling the web I stumbled upon this gem S13 240sx. It’s a little different from one side to the other which caught me by surprise. Dudes running 2 different wheels! Which isn’t bad… and I admit I’ve done it before while being sponsored by wheel companies. Overall car looks great Simple but with that added attention to detail is where it’s at. Check it out and you be the judge.

S13: Wrench time

Today I realized that I haven’t posted in a week sorta neglected the site and I apologize for the lack of updates. I wanted to post up something a little different from the show cars, drift cars or cars with parts some just drool over. Rather, I wanted to share a more of a simple everyday build that someone spent the wrench time and put it together at home while still having street appeal and a track look. I’m not sure if this one hits the track but it looks purpose built.  SR20 under the hood, fitted TE37’s and a clean kit. Very nice. I would probably do without the stickers on the windows but everyone has their own steez.

Enjoy!

Feedback is always appreciated.

Nisei Showoff Carshow: Little Tokyo Los Angeles: Coverage

I don’t go to shows very often but for Nisei, I thought i’d make an exception. I always get a great vibe from going to this show. Must be the friends i see there or knowing it brings a lot of the old school tuners that I haven’t seen in a while back to visit or show their cars.  Being that it’s Nisei, this show is known for always being HOT and i mean HOT!!! and this year was no exception. Well over 100 degrees, it was work getting coverage. I had some of the crew team helping me out so it wasn’t THAT bad. So big thanks to Nick, Lance Danny and Andrew for covering other sections of the show. Here are some of the pictures I took as a sneak preview of the coverage. Enjoy!!

Hawaii’s 86: Hachiroku Corolla

Always been a fan of the Hachiroku and Hawaii so when you combine the two it’s pure gold. We have a lot of clean 86’s here in the states but Hawaii does Hachi’s right. Check out the pics and i love that the cars all have their own personality right down to the engine bay. None of that cookie cutter stuff in these cars.
