Finale of the Toys for Tots by Chuck’s Creations/ Banshee Tunin and the Reserve Marine Corps.
I thought we’d have more SEMA coverage but we had some technical difficulties with memory card failure and forgetting to bring a back up memory card we probably only have one more part of the SEMA coverage. So a total of 4 parts of SEMA before we move on to new topics. These are a few pics from the cars that had outdoor spots and sick! I honestly wish we had more time. We really missed a lot of cars since we only had a few hours to walk the show but we hope that you the fans enjoy the coverage.
Wheels are too dark in my opinion looks like the cars floating but in person the car looks goooood! Skyblue worked on this EVO
This Genesis was Legit! Loved the small touches and color matching
Didn’t see too many S2000’s at the show so it was nice to see a few.
HAHA.. I don’t think too many other blogs showed this colorful bus but it was definitely eye catching
Apparently this was built in China and brought over to display. Very different .
This looked bad ass. Didn’t look like it was finished in time for the show but concept looks very nice. Wonder what it would look like complete?
Love old school Porsche’s and this one caught my eye! It was nice to see something a little different done to a Porsche rather then the norm which seems to be RWB kitted and fitted. Don’t get me wrong I love RWB but just nice to see something different .
Seeing that we were limited on time we didn’t get to see the entire car show and i’m sure we missed a lot of the hyped FR-S/BRZ’s out there but the ones we came across looked pretty bad ass. I wish I got to see the one built by the homies at Platinum VIP/ Phantom Garage and the Iforged one but I totally missed out. These are the ones that caught my eye and stood out to me while walking the halls.
Well I know it’s pretty late and I’m sure everyone has seen all or most of the nicest rides of SEMA but we wanted to bring our coverage to you anyway. We only attended SEMA one day because we didn’t have the luxury of going more days (darn work). We pretty much drove up after work the day before SEMA ended. So we knew we’d have a full day of work ahead of us Friday. Seeing that we had to wake up early for the last day we head over for registration to pick up our passes for the day and our luck they couldn’t find our name for media. Since we were pressed for time we asked how much it was to go into the event as a spectator. Who knew it was $75 for a day? Technically its $75 for the four day pass but seeing that we were there the last day thought they’d gives us a break. WRONG! Haha it wasn’t their fault but we decided to wait it and have them look for our Media passes again. Luckily enough they did find our registration and thus began our day. I won’t jibber jabber too much but I wish we could have gone for a few days rather then rush the coverage into one day but there’s always next year.
I was looking through some pictures I took at Nisei found a few I didn’t post. So here’s another part to the Nisei coverage.
Always good to see Jamari’s car specially in SoCal. Gotta give it to him and how for he drives to show this beast. Dedication and car love. Awesome.
The homie Jesse Sabater’s bad ass GTR
July 21st 2012 Autocon brought a car show to Santa Anita Park in Arcadia for the first time. (From my experiences in the show scene i think this was the first time it’s been held there).
Lance Uchida a part of Bob’s Your Uncle took quite a few pics from the event so bare with us for more pics as we go through them and pick out the ones that stand out.
If you didn’t get the opportunity to go to the show, here’s the coverage:
Michael Mao’s NSX is well known in the show scene and it’s no surprise why.
Joey Lee from the Chronicles sick Q45 on the pavement .. love the Equips!
CCW’s never get old . . Supra + CCW classics = Awesome!
Big Mike’s Prelude looking clean as usual. So nice.
