Toyota Carina

One of the less talked about cars in the Toyota line up. Probably because we don’t see it stateside. Although we do see pics of the Crown pop up from time to time. I never really recall seeing pics of a Carina unless it’s mistaken for a Cressida. Wagon or Sedan I personally love them. Check out the pics below and you be the judge. Would you rock one ?

Part 2 Formula Drift: Introductions

I wanted to take the chance in part 2 of the coverage to introduce our newest addition to the team Deejay Dunsparth that was also at the event and was able to take a few pics for us.

Here we have the sequel to Emerson’s (Emu) Formula D coverage. G

R32: Black or White?

I’ve always been a fan of the older model Skylines and R32 is one the top choices for me in their line behind the Kenmeri and R33.

I was browsing online and stumbled on these R32 drifting and thought hrmm. Which would i prefer Black or White? Of course i’m only dreaming of owning one but it’s a nice thought to think I could pick from one of the 2 below. haha.

FD3S Drift: On Board Camera

I’m a huge fan of in motion pics and having cameras on board isn’t a new thing but damn,  when I see these pics it makes me appreciate awesome cars doing work. This FD is definitely doing it’s thing! I believe at a Formula Drift event in the UK.

Check it out.

LSX Swapped: S13

This S13 is a simply amazing . I’m in awe over the the quality of the pics and the build itself. Everything looks like it’s done so proper. the Engine bay doesn’t looked crammed and that LSx looks at home in the S13 shell. Car itself doesn’t have too much going on with the exterior but like mentioned in the last post sometimes less is more. This set up looks great and i’m sure this car is loads of fun to drive. I’d love to see this car in action but i’ll settle with the beautiful shots below.
photo is property of VisualEchos Photography (Andrew Thompson).

On to the pictures.

Lumber Jack comes to mind when i see the interior but it’s still well executed.

Gymkhana Five: 2012 Ford Fiesta

With the popularity of the video how can I not post something some pics of this amazing car. Putting this 650 hp Ford Fiesta car through it’s paces in SF was just an awesome thing to watch. Ken Block is on a level of his own. DC Shoes, Ford and Monster Energy drink doing big things. These videos get more and more exciting.

Now check out the car.

The cockpit.

Here’s the must watch video

JIC Magic: S14/ S15 Throwback Thursday

Throw back Thursday: I know these cars are still in the drift scene now but for me it’s a throw back of when I used to work at JIC and got to wrench on these beasts. Late night prep work before an event was never fun specially with a boss screaming behind you in Japanese.. bleh. Some memories should just stay in the past.

These cars came out beautifully and i’m glad to say I was able to see them being built. Enjoy.
